Personalized Amino Acid Health Assessment Urine Test
Item # LC100090
Evaluate nutritional status and reveal overlooked health risks.
Feeling overwhelmed and don’t know where to start? This in-depth amino acid profile is the best way to identify areas of your personal health to focus on, with an easy at-a-glance summary of results.
This is the best test to help identify the areas of your personal health to focus on first!
Many individuals have "hidden" impairments in amino acid metabolism that are problematic and often go undiagnosed. The Personalized Amino Acid Health Assessment is a powerful tool for nutritional testing and identification of overlooked health risks.
Amino acid analysis provides fundamental information about nutrient adequacy, including the quality and quantity of dietary protein, digestive disorders, and vitamin and mineral deficiencies—particularly folic acid, B12, B6, zinc and magnesium. In addition, amino acid analysis provides important information about kidney and liver function, neurotransmitter production, toxin elimination, cardiac risk, and much more.
To simplify nutritional intervention, results are summarized in an easy-to-understand format along with a personalized list of potential health concerns (such as maldigestion/malabsorption, abnormal gastrointestinal flora, impaired detoxification, oxidative stress) along with relevant nutritional suggestions (such as B6, B12/folate, Mg) based upon results.
The Personalized Amino Acid Health Assessment measures levels of 44 amino acids and related compounds, categorized by relationship to nutritional status and health concern in the following categories:
Essential / Conditionally Essential Amino Acids, Nonessential Amino Acids, Gastrointestinal Health, Nutritional Status, Toxin Elimination, Metabolism, and Neurological function, and more.
