The TruAge test reveals whether DNA is aging more rapidly or slower than expected, and provides key metrics about intrinsic biological age, extrinsic immune age, as well as your current rate of biological aging (whether your DNA is aging more rapidly or slowly). Over and under-methylation can also reveal important health information.

Average telomere length – provides average telomere length measured in DNA from sample submitted, and how this compares to others in your chronological age group.

Weight Loss response – determines percent methylation at multiple gene loci associated with response to low calorie diets. Results help provide insight into how well you may respond to calorie restriction as a weight-loss strategy.

Smoking risk – determine percent methylation related to smoke exposure on health and risk of developing smoking-related conditions

Alcohol risk – determines alcohol-related epigenetic risk pattern and how it compares to the epigenetic pattern of others with similar reported alcohol consumption.
