Thrombotic risk is the term used to describe ones risk for clots that form inside blood vessels. Numerous factors in blood can contribute to abnormal blood clots. Rather than wait for an acute stroke, coronary blockage, or deep vein thrombus, one can evaluate common thrombotic risk factors that are measured in the blood. This panel has been designed to detect abnormalities in one's blood that can be corrected before a disabling or lethal clot develops.
