How does the Life Extension Affiliate Program work?

Our affiliate program allows approved partners to place affiliate links on their website to Life Extension products and services, e-newsletters, and social media channels. When a website visitor clicks any of these affiliate links, they will be redirected to LifeExtension.com where they can complete their product purchase. Life Extension pays affiliates a commission for each sale generated through these affiliate links.

Does it cost me anything to become an affiliate?

No! There is no application fee, annual maintenance fee, or minimum sales quota requirement to participate in our affiliate program.

In fact, by being a Life Extension affiliate, you may drive more traffic to your website by adding rich and engaging content produced by Life Extension, and affiliate links may provide an additional source of revenue to your website when your website visitors purchase our products through these affiliate links. We take care of order fulfillment and payment processing—all you do is cash the commission check from us!

What are the eligibility requirements?

To qualify to be an affiliate, you must own and operate a digital property, such as a website, an email newsletter, or social media channel, with sufficient audience reach. Note: your digital presence must meet our standards, which include posting relevant and truthful content targeted to an appropriate audience, clear design and user interface, and adherence to standard web security protocols. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Life Extension Affiliate Program or your participation in the program at any time for any reason and without notice to you.

How do I sign up?

Complete our online application form. Once your application has been received, we will determine your eligibility to participate in our affiliate program and notify you of any decision we make regarding your application. Once approved, we will provide you with a welcome package containing instructions on how to get started.

Can I place affiliate links on multiple websites?

Yes. You can have multiple websites under one affiliate account. You can track the results for each of your websites separately but you will receive one commission check for all websites.

What are my responsibilities as an affiliate?

You are responsible for using the link syntax provided by Commission Junction and placing these links on your website. We handle almost everything else.

How does Life Extension support affiliates?

We provide you with the tools and resources for you to maximize sales through your website. We also handle orders, shipping, and billing for all buyers you refer to us.

Can I participate in other affiliate programs?

Yes! We do not restrict participation in other affiliate programs outside of Life Extension.

Can Life Extension resellers participate in the affiliate program?

No. Because they already get a discount on wholesale purchases, resellers are not eligible to participate in the Life Extension Affiliate Program.

Can a website hosted outside the United States participate in the affiliate program?

Yes. We welcome affiliates from almost anywhere in the world. However, when buyers make purchases on or through LifeExtension.com, all payment methods must be in U.S. dollars. All commission payment checks to affiliates are also in U.S. dollars. Due to distribution restrictions, we have commission restrictions on orders made to certain countries. See “Tracking, payment, and reporting” section below for the list of commission-restricted countries.

Will joining the Life Extension Affiliate Program increase traffic to my website?

It’s possible. Please note that while our affiliate program is a revenue-sharing program, it is not designed to help you increase traffic to your website. However, many of our affiliates will find that they enjoy a higher user return rate because Life Extension offers enhance their website content.

How do I create affiliate links?

Once you have been approved by Life Extension as a Commission Junction Publisher, you will be able to access your Commission Junction Publisher account. To begin, first log into your Commission Junction account, then using the top navigation bar: (i) select “Get Links” tab to view affiliate links available for your use; (ii) select “By Relationship” tab and then select “Life Extension links” to view all Life Extension affiliate links for your use; (iii) Select “Get HTML” or “Get JavaScript” codes to select the links that you would like to use on your website. These codes include the correct parameters needed for Commission Junction to track when your website visitors click on these affiliate links and complete their purchase of Life Extension products or services.

Are there any restrictions for placing affiliate links?

You may link to our products and services provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. You must not link in any manner as to suggest any form of association, approval, or endorsement on our part where none exists. You must not link to our products and services on any website that is not owned by you.

Where should I place affiliate links on my website?

You should place links where they are easy for your website visitors to find. Some areas you may want to place your links include your homepage, your navigation bar, and any other high-traffic areas. If you place the links in an easily accessible location on your website, then your visitors will be more likely to make a purchase.

How often should I update my affiliate links?

You should update links to our products regularly. We are constantly adding new products, so you should frequently create new links that fit the interests of your visitors.

Can I use your published content on my website?

Yes, within certain guidelines. Product images may be used, but please be aware that labels and images change often. Our articles are available for your use as long as you do not remove or obscure, by framing or otherwise, any part or portion of our articles, and you provide proper attribution to Life Extension as the copyright owner. Tracking, payment, and reporting

What is the current commission rate?

Life Extension's Affiliate Program pays affiliates a commission rate of 6% for each sale generated through these affiliate links.

How much can I earn?

Results may vary. Each affiliate is different. Some affiliates maintain a single website while others have multiple websites. They have different business objectives, their target audience is different, their relationship with their audience is different, and their websites may look and operate differently. These external factors make it difficult to predict how much an affiliate will earn from our affiliate program. Affiliates can generally expect to earn higher commissions when operating a website with engaging content and higher traffic.

How do I know how much commission I've earned?

Commission Junction provides various reports for you to manage and assess any earned commissions. To access these resources, log into your Commission Junction Publisher account and select “Run Reports” from the main menu. You can also run “Performance Reports” or “Transaction Reports” from the tabs located below the main menu. Commissions are found in the “Transaction Reports” tab while sales are found in the “Performance Reports” tab.

How often do I get paid?

Commission Junction handles all affiliate payments monthly. If you already have a Commission Junction affiliate account, your earnings from Life Extension will be accrued to your regular commission check.

How will you know that the orders came from my website?

All links that you place on your website contain a unique identifier so that every time a user comes to us via your website, we know to credit you when a purchase is made.

Do I earn commissions on my own purchases?

No. You will not receive any commissions when making a purchase through your own affiliate links. You may receive an automatic notification from Commission Junction to let you know that a sale has taken place, but your affiliate payments will not include commissions for the sale. Life Extension reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate your license at any time for any reason.

What about product returns?

If the buyer returns a product for a refund, or if a payment transaction is disputed and a credit has been issued, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that sales transaction.

How do I change my account information?

Affiliates can access and modify their account information through Commission Junction. Once your application has been reviewed, and you have been accepted into our affiliate program, we will send you a welcome package containing login instructions and other helpful information.

Are there international restrictions on what can earn commissions?

Life Extension has awarded distribution rights to several strategic global partners, granting those partners certain exclusive rights regarding the sale of our products and services to certain territories.

The Life Extension Affiliate Program does not pay commissions on sales generated from the following territories: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Laos, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands (Holland), New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom, and Vietnam.
